Salt Lake Stars Special Needs Hockey
This is an open invitation for your child to play on an adaptive hockey team sponsored by the Salt Lake Stars Special Needs Hockey Team. Registration is free and equipment is provided for your child to play. There are many volunteers who assist the kids on the ice and all learning levels are encouraged to join!
To offer people with Autism, Down Syndrome and any other cognizant developmental disability the opportunity to play the sport of Ice Hockey in an environment which is adapted to the level of ability at which the athletes are able to participate. The program is open to any player - age 5 and older, make or female, who has the desire and physical ability to play, but would not be able to participate in other organized youth or adult hockey programs due to his or her disability.
