The Korth Rebel Foundation (KRF) is on a mission to provide resources to players and coaches and change the landscape of teaching in youth sports. Don is helped by Morgan, who leads the women’s hockey division.
ABOUT US
Our organization is centered on three main objectives:
Korth Rebel Foundation is a non-profit 501 c 3.

Building life skills in hockey plays through team building and education
2.
Providing resources to coaches to further leadership training and enable certification in coaching
3.
Coordinating financial and equipment allocations set aside to help new potential players enter sports
Korth Rebels Foundation (KRF) was organized to fill the gap between sports training and life lessons that can be learned through exciting team play and inter-team interactions.
KRF was founded by Don Korth with a specific mission to provide these need aides to players and coaches and change the landscape of teaching in youth sports. ABOUT Our Founder
Don korth

Support our cause
Don started a hockey team at West Jordan High in 1982- 1987. He coached the Bantam B team for SLAHA in 1982-1983. In 1988 he started the Korth Rebels. The Rebels played in the SLCO adult league, as well as the USAH JR C division. The Rebels played both leagues until 1993. The Rebels dropped out of the JR C’s league in 1993. Don, Coached youth and high school leagues for over 15 years. Winning the Division 2 Championship with Olympus High school in 1994 and The Utah High School Independent Championship with South Valley Independent (SVI) in 2005. SVI won it with about a minute gone in 6th 5 minute overtime. Don went on to coach as an Assistant Coach at Weber State, Ogden, Utah. He also helped with Recruiting.
Don became the USAH Utah CEP Coaching Coordinator in 2004 -2016. With that responsibility, he was able to help with Certify Coaches, District Camp, and USHA camps. He appreciated the opportunity to travel and be involved with USAH. In 2011 Don was awarded the WM Thayer Tutt For Volunteer of the Year.
As Don got older he wanted to stay involved with hockey but not have all the responsibility of coaching. In 2011 Don founded the Korth Rebel foundation. It was organized to help kids play hockey. The main goals are the pay league fees and to help with hockey equipment.
